Jewellery to make you feel good

I live in the beautiful North West of England with a short stroll down to the coast which I love especially the view across to the Lake District. I have been making jewellery since I was little so it was no surprise when I enrolled on a short jewellery course that got me started in silversmithing.   I enjoyed the short course so much I continued at home creating and learning along the way. I just love it when other people are as passionate about handcrafted jewellery as I am. I am continuously learning all the time and with new techniques and tools becoming available it always sparks my creative side.

Jewellery can really change the way that you feel and can also have a link to a memory which is why I love making it.  Even though I make jewellery I generally always like to buy a piece when on holiday from a local artist to show support and to hold on to that memory.

There is nothing more satisfying than seeing someone wearing one of my designs, that it definitely job satisfaction.

I also make jewellery using colour for example cork wrap bracelets using eco friendly cork strands with metal buckles.  These have proved extremely popular and I have cork bracelets for men too and cork necklaces.  They are such a great alternative to leather especially when they act like leather ie waterproof and robust which soften over time.  Another way to bring colour in to my jewellery is to use gemstones and sea glass.

I have decided to make meaningful and personalised jewellery too.  The new Alphabet Letters I have made using recycled sterling silver are in a rustic/boho style and perfect for yourself or as a gift.

I am mindful of the resources that I use which are recycled sterling silver from a trusted source, gemstones, sustainable cork and sea glass.

So even if it's a treat for yourself, a thank you gift or a gift for someone else, I hope you find what you are looking for here.
